SEN Teaching Assistant

Moor Allerton Hall is a thriving, happy and diverse three-form entry primary school and our recently appointed, ambitious Headteacher is excited to appoint a new and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant.  

This post is to support an energetic and happy Key Stage 1 child with complex needs, working 1:1 with them to support with communication and interaction, and will require intimate care.  The successful candidate will need to be proactive in delivering a bespoke curriculum (which will be planned for them by the class teacher and SENDCo) and be able to follow recommendations on how to support the child from external agencies and professionals.  The role will involve building a good relationship with the child’s family and reporting daily on their progress and wellbeing, and good communication with the class teacher.  

The hours will be 31.25 per week, usually worked as 8.45am to 3.30pm daily, and the post is to work term time only.
